We had an attendance of 10 at our meeting on 7 March including our speaker Derek Gall, a self improvement therapist. As well as running courses for work place employees, he has been used by East Ayrshire Council to provide and run courses for school pupils on the themes of goal attainment and change for the better. His methods include challenges, discussions, residential experiences, as well as hypnotherapy and fire walking experiences (where considered appropriate). A theatre night at the Gaiety in Ayr has been planned to restart the regular yearly outing for members and others.

On 21 March we had an attendance of 8 when our most recent new member, Dee Dutta, gave us his Job Talk. His career and experience ranged from marketing and education on a wide geographical basis, including India, Singapore, Aberdeen, Lake District (not in any order of precedence), as well as developing an interest in issues such as working conditions and gender pay gap.
